Well, tonight I couldn't sleep...so I started looking back through old pictures. With as much as I enjoyed the memories of Uganda, I thought I'd share. I wish I could go back to Uganda and enjoy these views, laugh with Syd and Andrea (and soon-to-arrive baby!), and be shocked at how big the dog has grown. But I'll have to settle for sharing a few of my favorite pictures. And enjoying the fact that I lived in Uganda for two months. And looking forward to going back again.

(This, by the way, is the best view in the world.)

(The cutest dog. In the world)
And, I might as well admit... this post started after I received a few well-meaning jabs at my blogging skills and a couple punches to my photography style. And I was going to post some more humorous moments from Uganda for said attacker. But, somehow that's not what I need to do. Instead, I admit to missing Uganda and the times I had there in a world less complicated and a life less intense.
And now...its Wednesday. And so I bid you good night. Or good morning? Or, whatever.
Until next time, then.
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me
