I'm home, folks.
Weird feeling, really. People keep asking if its good to be back and I can't always answer that question. Its good to be back with the people I love, but I grew to love Uganda, too. So it was hard to leave there. Besides, I feel a little selfish for living in such luxury and comfort -- hot showers, high speed internet, running water, electricity, flush toilet, etc -- when there are so many over the pond that cannot even fathom what we have here.
More thoughts and stories and pictures will come once I finish processing all that the past two months have been. And, besides, I start work tomorrow and need to finish getting over this awful thing known as jetlag.
I did get to raft on the Nile, though, and here's proof. Andrea did a GREAT job of photographing our descent down the first major rapid of the day-long expedition.
