When I was living at home (or - back in the day - visiting home on college breaks), I was sometimes irritated by the huge harp that took over my childhood bedroom. When I left for college, my dresser was moved out and the harp was moved in. But the benefits definitely outweighed the inconveniences -- for example being put to sleep by harp music or hearing harp music as I came home after a stressful day at work is an impossible act to follow.
Now that I've moved out, I can more fully appreciate that she has taken the time to produce a CD (and is poised to launch round two in the Joanna-takeover-of-the-music-industry). I can enjoy listening to harp music whenever and wherever I want to!
Its always a challenge toting a harp around neighborhoods and towns -- that thing is huge! -- but, inevitably, we find excitement and fun and beautiful images. :-)
In this particular case of Summerfield, NC photography adventures, we carried the instrument up a flight of very narrow stairs (and by "we," I mean "they") and explored a local businessman's quaint store with a camera and harp.
