Junior: Jenny

Reason number 1,057 why I love taking pictures: Hanging out with cool people like Jenny.

Even if Jenny and I didn't share a name (and are, therefore, bonded forever in the world of random names), I would still be delighted to be able to spend time with her.

I mean, check out those EYES, peoples! And that smile. And the scarf. And did I mention her eyes?!?!

She's a Junior. A golfer (yup, you read it right). A delightfully special girl. The world ahead of her. And a smile to carry her through.

Jenny, Haylee, Joanna, and I spent an evening at the Dixie Classic Fair taking pictures, laughing, listening to music, being stalked by weird Whac-a-Mole booth operators, and generally trying to stay out of trouble. I think we were (mostly) successful.

And, hey! I got some cool pictures out of the deal. What more could I ask for?






(No, do not ask why Jenny has an apple on her head. Or why she looks so seriously cute doing it. Or why this picture is one of my absolute favorites. Just accept it: she can balance an apple on her head and still loook amazing. Yes, let's be jealous.)

Senior: Haylee

She smiles because she loves life. And it shows. Plus, its contagious. Even better.

I was only around her bubbliness for a few hours as we hung out at the fair, but I loved every minute of it. She knew how to make Jenny laugh, she could strike some serious attitude with Joanna, and she knows how to scream her head off on a serious carnival ride. Besides being so fun, she's beautiful, too! What could be better?

Okay, okay. So it does get better. She can compare apples to apples.

Sneak Peek: Haylee and Jenny

When you spend an evening at the fair, what do you think of? Do you contemplate the Ferris wheel? Do you get sick thinking about the Tilt-A-Whirl? Do you think of the amount of money you lost trying to whack-a-mole? Or, perhaps, do you crave another helping of deep fried butter?

I remember two beautiful girls with amazing smiles. I look at pictures of crazy shenanigans and cute giggles. I laugh at all the people who laughed at us.
