Waiting on Life

There he stands, nonchalantly.

Casual, hands in pocket.

Smiling, excited.

The sun breaking over him, spilling that golden light.

He's a Senior. Preparing to jump into college and career and all of life's adventures.
He's laughing because he's thinking of his girl -- just saying her name made him smile.

There he is, waiting on life.
And smiling.
