Alisha and Jimmy

Align Center
As a photographer who has tried both sides of the camera, I know first-hand how wearing it can be to be photographed.

I mean, seriously! So much mental agony.

"Is my hair alright?"

"Where am I supposed to be looking?"

"What do I do with my arms?"

"Am I smiling alright?"

"Would the camera please go away?

I also know that most people get completely worn out after, say, an hour of shooting.
But we were wandering the campus of UNC Chapel Hill for three hours. Yes, you read right Three hours of camera!

Plus, Jimmy and Alisha both work night shift and hadn't slept in a very long time.

I was worn out at the end. Exhausted. Completely.

But they? Still truckin' along, compliant, adorable, and gorgeous.

P.S. The number one benefit of engagement shoots pre-wedding shoot? Loosening up the couple.

Example: I now know that all I have to do is reenact the pre-concert warm-up routine of Sharpay Evans and poor Jimmy can't help but laugh. Just sayin'. It works. (And, no, I did not just make a High School Musical reference on my blog. Did NOT just do that.)
