(Considering the fact that my apartment complex overlooks the Interstate, complete silence is unheard of.)
But then the town started waking up. A couple kids spun donuts in a parking lot. A woman hardly got out of the hotel parking lot, spinning desperately for traction. The macho men in their diesel macho man trucks accelerated confidently and smugly. My neighbor took her dog out for a walk.
Its snow.
And, in true southern fashion, life has shut down while snow is on the ground.
But I'm going to enjoy it.
