The difference? Well, not much different. But, still. Humor me. Its pretty cool, too. Right?
Family love is deep, real, full. It has passed the test of time and gotten stronger. It doesn't cave when life throws a curve ball or two. It doesn't give up in the middle of fight. It might stomp around during a toddler temper tantrum, but then it comes back. And, more importantly, nothing comes between family. Nothing. Zip. Zero. Nada.
A bandaid doesn't do as much for a boo-boo as a kiss from Mom and a homemade supper.
Brother might get a roll of the eyes during a lame joke, but he'll always get a hug at the end of the day.
Sister might go away and get married, but she'll come back and everything will be the same.
Dad has to work long hours but he'll always be there when he needs to be.
And family dinners? Nothing like 'em.
Roll it all up, top it with a bow, pile it on a couch in the middle of an abandoned lot. And there it is. Family. In a photograph.
