Beauty today is so fickle. So superficial. Society claims that to be beautiful you have to be blonde, tan, and a size 2.
But I give you a beauty that lasts through the ages -- a beauty that doesn't fade with time and that won't cause skin cancer or eating disorders.
This beauty is the beauty of a smile. A smile that goes all the way to the eyes. Eyes that love family, laugh at life, and enjoy each moment no matter what it brings (even when it brings an annoying photographer commissioned to capture the timeless beauty!).
Smile, folks. Smile.
People today seem to take themselves entirely too seriously. And, yes, I'm guilty of it, too.
Enjoy life!
Look forward to the wrinkles and graying hair . . . they are a prize because with the outward signs of age will come the inward development of wisdom and experience that is truly priceless.
