In Uganda

The Internet is slow.
The keyboard hardly works.
But I'm online. For the last time in several weeks.

We leave in 45 minutes to go out to the campsite where there is no electricity (we had a meeting this morning with the solar power company to get that installed), no running water (the stream is half a mile away), and a pit latrine (woohoo!)

But I'm here. And I'm happy. Sitting in the airplane for18 hours total (then 8 hours in Detroit and 6 in Amsterdam), I was really struggling. The fatigue was wearing on me and all the fears were piling up. God has taken all the fear away, though, and made it exceedingly better than I could've dreamed.

The stories and photos will come. Until then, though, it's your African adventurer signing off to go to the biggest adventure yet - life without any modern conveniences. :-)
