40 Hours

In 40 hours, I will be leaving my world for 40 days.

40 days in Africa.
40 days away from home.
40 days of photography.
40 days of adventures.
40 days of fun.
40 days of trial.
40 days.
40 days.
40 days.

As my readers and friends know, this trip to Uganda has been in the works for a long time. It has been a goal/dream of mine since before graduation: pay off school loans, buy a real camera, take a missions trip. I'm two-thirds of the way through my goals; now it's time to accomplish the third!

When I leave on Sunday morning at 6am, I make my way across the ocean and into Uganda. Then I move out to the camp property with Syd and Andrea. Then I do whatever they tell me to do until I hit the skies on the way back, briefly tour Amsterdam, and then arrive home in mid-March.

Although I do hope to post here pictures and stories from my journeys, I do not know how often Internet access will be available. No worries, though: I'll at least be posting pictures when I get back. (Lots and lots of pictures!)
